Dr. Lamb received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Temple University in 1987. He graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. He also received the outstanding achievement scholarship award, the Richard Asher Paclin memorial prize, and the Otto Kurschner Award for excellence in science.

Dr. Lamb received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1991. His postgraduate medical education includes a surgical internship at Pennsylvania Hospital from July 1991 through June 1992, his orthopedic residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital from July 1992 through June 1996, and a spinal fellowship program at Emory University School of Medicine from August 1996 through July of 1997.

Dr. Lamb frequently received additional education and training on the latest advancements in spinal techniques, which allow his patients to have shorter hospital stays and easier recoveries. He is skilled in performing minimally invasive procedures, artificial disc replacement, kyphoplasty, and the use of interspinous devices.

Dr. Lamb is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
