10 Years - A Different Kind of Medicine

March 14, 2015

Princeton Brain & Spine was founded in 2005 by Mark R. McLaughlin, MD, FACS, FAANS, to fulfill his belief that there had to be a way to practice medicine that was better for patients: that a medical practice could and should provide medical care that was not subject to the whims and policies of big insurance companies. Our first office was small but the dream was big and it resonated with patients who wanted to know that they could be treated the same way as their parents were treated.

It seemed risky and many told Dr. McLaughlin that it would never work: that medicine had changed too much and he just had to accept that it was big business.

Nirav K Shah MD, FACS  joined the practice on August 1st of 2005 and we have never looked back.

For 10 years we have pursued a belief and a dream that there was a place for a unique patient to doctor relationship that was not based on the whims of external forces..., that we could deliver old-fashioned one on one care, while using the most technologically advanced and sophisticated treatment techniques.available.

It turns out that Dr. McLaughlin was right. On March 14th we celebrated a decade of excellence. We invite you to view our Commemorative Book published for the event.
